You can tell her that this is part of your dreams or your future and you really want this bad.Tell her about the financial aid. bring up when you went to Texas, it should make her think that you can be responsible and safe. Also maybe she could come to the airport or however you would get there. Tell her you'll call her when you get there and everyday. Also maybe if you have family in Pennsylvania they could check on you too.
